Hon. Fidelis Adjogbe, a former SSA to the immediate past governor of Delta State and founder of the Fidelis Support Group (FSG), has called on well-meaning Nigerians, corporate organizations and other non-governmental organisations in the country to give full support and attention to orphans, children of the poor and the less privileged in our various communities across the country.
The Evwreni PDP political leader made this call at the Emmanuel Catholic Church, Ighwre-Ovie community, Ogor kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State as his newborn child, Miss Mira Fejiro Adjogbe, was dedicated to God.
The dedication service which was attended by family members, political associates, business partners, top government functionaries, traditional leaders and others, witnessed the gathering laud Hon. Adjogbe for his generosity, humility and the philanthropic nature towards alleviating the plight of the poor and the less privileged in the society.
The service ended with the formal dedication of Baby Mira Fejiro Adjogbe to God by the Catholic priest in charge of the church and prayers offered for the family and those present.
Following a reception at Eclat Royal Hotels, Ughelli, our correspondent said it was really a celebration of love between the parents, Hon. and Mrs. Fidelis Adjogbe, their lovely baby and all present at the event.
Speaking to our correspondent during the reception, Hon. Adjogbe said, “I can’t thank God enough for His abundant blessings upon my immediate family and the entire Adjogbe family especially the blessing of this new baby to my family. We thank God for this great miracle! In the same way, I want to thank all the guests and dignitaries that accompanied us to the church for the dedication service and also to come here for the reception. I’m especially grateful to our revered monarch, the Ovie of Ogor kingdom for finding time to celebrate the moment with us and also our dear Reverend Fathers. I must also thank all Evwreni people and every other invited guest that are here with us for this great celebration. We are indeed grateful to you for your moral and financial support and your donations right in the church and to us here.”
Also, former executive director, Projects at the NDDC, Engr. Chief Samuel Adjogbe, sued for peace and love among couples, urging them to bring up their children and wards in the ways of the Lord.
Hear him: “Couples should imbibe the virtues of love and peace in order to keep their marriages strong and to avoid incessant divorce confronting today’s marriages. We should also try to bring up our children in the ways of the Lord and to give them proper education in order to produce better and responsible adults that will take over from us in later years as leaders in our families, communities, the state and the entire country.”

Desmond Okpako, Evwreni Rotary Club, Fidelis Support Group, PDP Evwreni Ward and others.
