Abuloma Monarch Commiserates With Abibo’s Family

The Amanyanabo of Abuloma Kingdom, HRH, King (Brig-Gen) Rtd, Bright Ateke Fiboinumama, has consoled the family of “one of the most brilliant legal icons in Nigeria,” Barr. Granville Isetima Abibo (SAN) who passed on on Monday, June 15, 2020 in Port Harcourt.

In his tribute, the royal father poured encomium on him, describing his dedication and commitment to the legal profession as exemplary, inspiring and worthy of emulation, especially to the younger generation.

The monarch further eulogized him as a close confidant to him and the Abuloma Community, noting that his encouragement and discipline played a major role in navigating the community to a greater height.

In his emotion-laden tribute, he had this to say: “Abibo valued and loved people, regardless of their background. One recurring decimal in his life is that he didn’t need to know you to value your person.”

“He was an accomplished lawyer of repute and cherished Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). He maintained deep respect and love for his people with an amazing and sound character that typified his symbolic upbringing.”

The king further stressed that his steadfast consistence in the face of distractions, humility, meekness, grace, presence of mind and cheerfulness with which he carried out his professional duties was outstanding.

He prayed the Almighty God to grant him eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
