Ex-Agitators Laud Dango’s Appointment as Adviser to NDDC Boss

Leaders of the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) have congratulated Mr. Mathew Asime Dango on his appointment as the special adviser on Youths to the new managing director of NDDC, Dr Samuel Ogbuku.

A statement signed by Elaye Slaboh, Princewill Kotingo, Victor Occasion and Davison Suboh, and made available to newsmen in Yenagoa, described Mr. Dango as a thorough bred grassroots man, adding that the appointment is well deserved.

“We the generality of the Third Phase Leaders of Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP) congratulate you, Mr Matthew Asime Dango, on your well deserved appointment as the Special Adviser on Youth (S.A) to the managing director NDDC”.

The statement further described Mr. Dango as a man of reputable character and good conduct, adding that he is “an experienced and hard working young man and at this point in time very important to the development of youths in the Niger Delta Region.”

The group therefore asked him to see his appointment as divine and a call to duty, urging him to use his  “good office to carry the  Niger Delta youths along in the scheme of things and give maximum support to the newly appointed MD in order to bring his wealth of experience to bear.”
