Adjogbe Dedicates Twin Babies with Thanksgiving

It was celebration galore for members of the Adjogbe family, friends, political and business associates as Hon. Fidelis Adjogbe and his wife, from Evwreni kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, dedicated their newborn twin babies, Nelson Edafe and Nicholas Efe, with thanksgivings. 

The dedication service was held on Sunday April 24, 2022 at the Emmanuel Catholic Church, Ighwreovie-Ogor town with the clergy, guests and family members in attendance.

The officiating priest, in his sermon, advised the parents to train the twin babies in the way of the Lord despite the moral decadence and behavioural rot ravaging the society at the moment.

He also enjoined the federal and state governments to provide for the health and educational needs of the younger generation as part of their statutory duties to the citizens of the country.

The dedication service however ended with thanksgivings offered to God by Hon. Adjogbe, accompanied by members of his family and guests, for a successful and peaceful birth by his wife.

In appreciation of his guests and family members during the reception, held after the church service, Hon. Adjogbe, who is also an aspirant for the Ughelli North Constituency 1 seat in the Delta State House of Assembly come 2023 general elections said, “Our joy and happiness knew no bounds today. First, I want to thank Almighty God for His protection and blessings upon our family. The results are everywhere and not hidden. May His name be praised forever.

“Again, I want all of you here to join me to say a big thank you to my beloved elder brother and father, Chief Dr. Engr. Samuel Adjogbe. Words are not enough to thank him for his support to me and my immediate family. He made me what I’m today as a caring father.

“Finally, I want to thank all of you that are present in this occasion. It shows that you really love me as one of your own. We truly appreciate your great support and care for us. Today, we are really happy to celebrate the divine and heavenly gifts of twin babies from God to our family. I pray God to also bless all of you for us to continue to celebrate together like this.”

Amongst dignitaries that graced the occasion were Chief Dr. Engr. and Mrs. Samuel Adjogbe, immediate past executive director on Projects, NDDC; High Chief Hon. Barr Jaro Egbo; Alhaji Barr Mumakhai Unagha; High Chief and Chief Mrs. Felix Ayovwe, the Otota’Rode of Evwreni kingdom; Mr. Peter Maison, the president-general of Unenurhie community; Prince Matthew Uba; Hon. Desmond Okpako; Mr. Marcus Uba; Mr. Friday Diamond,  members of the Catholic Church, members of the extended Adjogbe family, political fans, friends and others.
