The president-general of Unenurhie community, Evwreni kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr. Peter Maison, has concluded plans to give his daughter, Miss Rita Edesiri Maison, out for marriage from November 24 to 28, 2021.
According to a statement by the bride’s father, the activities will commence with a traditional marriage according to the traditions and customs of the Unenurhie people. a A light reception would follow the payment of the bride price, as stipulated by the Unenurhie community, by the family of the groom, Mr. Rukevwe Stanley Emene, from Kokori Inland, Agbon Kingdom in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The statement further reads that, the solemnization of holy matrimony would take place at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Unenurhie on Saturday 27 November, while the grand finale is slated for Sunday 28 November at a reception put together for guests and dignitaries by the couple.
The reception would take place at NUT Event Centre, along Ughelli/Asaba Road, Ighwre-Ovie, Ughelli, Delta state.
President-General of Unenurhie community, Mr. Peter Maison, who is the father of the bride, called on family members, friends, community leaders, colleagues and loved ones to join him and his family to celebrate their daughter and her love as they legally come together as husband and wife.
