Kuku Dazzles at Chieftaincy Installation


Dignitaries from all walks of life converged at the Port Harcourt residence of a renowned Kalabari son, Sir Chief Godday Monday Kuku, Boko IV to felicitate on his new status as the head, Boko Group of Houses, Idama Community in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The dignitaries included the Amayanabo of Idama, King Karibo Kariboye, former caretaker committee chairman of Akuku Toru Local Government Area and former Youth Leader of Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Dimabo Torukwuein, former caretaker chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area and Councillor Ward 17 Degema Legislative Assembly, Hon. Piribo Moore Ngalo,

The chief similarly heads the Liliama, Orupoku in the Horsfall, West India group of Houses all in Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Eminent personalities who thronged the occasion described Chief Kuku as a worthy son of Kalabariland with a large heart, whose magnanimity knows no bound.

They further poured encomiums on him and prayed that the good Lord sustain him in piloting the affairs of his chiefdom.

The first son of the royal father, Kingsley Kuku described his father as an upright and sincere leader, whose qualities are unmatched.

“My father is humble, selfless, intelligent and God gifted.I pray for God’s direction and wisdom for him for a purposeful leadership and I am confident that he has the wherewithal to place his new role to greater heights.

The member representing Ward 17 in the Degema LGA Legislative Assembly, Hon. Piribo Moore Ngalo, paid a glowing tribute to the chief, adding that he is a quintessential figure of repute with a robust pedigree.

He advised his subjects to always support his initiatives in the bid to further the growth of the community.

The Ogurama Community youths were in their numbers to identify with the chief, among who were Damiete Orugbani, Young Ibani, Sogbeye Wokoma etc.

A live band led by Festus Benibo a.k.a Father entertained guests as sumptuous food and drinks were served to guests who enjoyed every bit of the event.
