The joy of Colonel Orobosa Igheghe knew no bounds as he was bestowed with an award as a ‘Quintessential Administrator’ by the Niger Delta Media Forum for distinguishing himself in the discharge of his responsibilities to the Nigerian Army and the country in general.
According to Public Relations Officer of the group, Wenenda Weli, Igheghe who is the Commanding Officer, Administration in 6 Division Garrison of the Nigerian Army in Port Harcourt, Rivers State was honored “in recognition of his outstanding administrative prowess and his contributions to successes been recorded by the 6 Division Garrison in the fight against crime and criminality especially illegal oil bunkering activities and pipeline vandalism in the Niger Delta which has impacted positively in the oil production and revenue profile of the country.”
The C.O Admin, the group said, “has carved a niche himself as an epitome of discipline and hard work and represents the generation of officers whose legacies in the Nigerian Army will continue to stand the test of time for the younger generations to emulate.”
Responding Colonel Igheghe expressed appreciation to the niger delta media forum for finding him worthy of the award assuring that he will continues to do his best in the interest of the nation and promises to partner with the media to achieve the set objectives.
He used the opportunity to commend the officers and men of the 6 Division Garrison for their collaborative efforts in bringing about the results recorded as he admonishes for hard , integrity and commitment to duty among the officers and men as a veritable tool for achieving success in any organization.
