The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has sent “its warmest wishes and congratulations to one of the party’s great ambassadors, Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke (BOO).”
The felicitation comes as the lawmaker celebrated his birthday.
In a statement made available to our correspondent, the party said it holds the lawmaker in high esteem, adding that “we are indeed glad to identify with him on this special day.”
The PDP said that as a member of the House of Representatives representing the Obokuun/Oriade federal constituency, Oke has made “tremendous contributions to the development of our great state and the nation.
“His love for public service, dedication to his constituents, and commitment to the PDP’s values are attributes that have kept him afloat as a political institution.
“Hon. Oluwole Oke’s service to the nation and dedication to the PDP are further evidenced by his leadership as chairman of various House committees including that of Judiciary, a role he currently holds with distinction.
“His flair for justice, fairness, and equality is an embodiment of the PDP’s values, and we are proud to have him as a frontline member of our party.
“On this very special day, we pray for Hon. Oluwole Oke’s continued good health, wisdom, and strength to serve the nation and our party with consciousness and conscientious conviction. May you continue to be a beacon of hope and an unconvoluted role model for young Nigerians who aspire to public service.
