As congratulatory messages keep pouring in for the winner of the All Progressives Congress presidential primaries, Asiwaju Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, one of the party’s governorship aspirants in Delta State, who is also the director general of the National Bio-Safety Management Agency, Chief Dr. Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba, has also congratulated the APC flag bearer.

In a statement made available to newsmen, the Biosafety boss said: “I congratulate Asiwaju (Senator) Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the APC presidential primaries and his emergence as the party flag bearer. Senator Tinubu worked for the victory and he also deserved the position since he had paid his dues in the party.

“Senator Tinubu who is popularly known as the Jagaban, is a politician of repute, and having served as a senator and governor of Lagos State (the largest economy in West Africa), it is not in doubt that he has the capacity and means to go all the way to become president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, after the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari.”

Chief Dr. Ebegba however called on all Nigerians irrespective of party affiliations and membership to cast their votes for Asiwaju Tinubu during the 2023 general elections.

“I want to call on all Nigerians in respective of party affiliations, ethnic groups, tribes or regions to cast all our votes for the man who is capable politically and otherwise to run the affairs of this country.

“He is no other person, but Asiwaju Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He’s a detribalised and grassroots politician. He knows the pains and problems of the poor masses of this country and how to remedy the bad economic situations. He is a man that has international business connection and can improve on the different economic programmes as laid down by the incumbent president, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari.

“I want to plead with all Nigerians never to be deceived to go back again to Egypt. We shouldn’t forget that we are still on the journey to the Promised Land. And the only political party that can successfully lead us to the long awaited Promised Land is the APC. Therefore, we should happily vote all APC candidates, both at the national level and in the different states to take over the government,” he said.
