13 Corps Members Receive Awards as 2024 Batch C Stream 1 Passes out in Bayelsa

Thirteen out of the 1,070 Corps members deployed to Bayelsa under the 2024 Batch C Stream 1 on Tuesday passes out with outstanding awards and honours for good conduct and outstanding performance in their Places of Primary Assignment (PPA).

‎According to the State Coordinator of the NYSC in Bayelsa, Mrs. Obiageli Charity, the thirteen Corps members were recognized for their outstanding performance in their Places of Primary Assignment (PPA).

‎Mrs. Obiageli Charity called on the corps members to sustain their good conduct and to continue making impactful contributions in their  future endeavours.

‎Obiageli Charity, while delivering her heartfelt address underscored the importance of the corps members’ journey and their impact on the state and beyond.

‎She praised the corps members for their unwavering innovation, resilience, and the positive influence they had made during their service year.

‎Obiageli Charity represented at the event by the Assistant Director, Skills Acquisition Entrepreneurship Development (SAED), Mr. Anumaka Raymond Kenmedy, commended the corps members for their dedication to community service and leadership.

‎ She emphasized that many of them had successfully implemented life-changing projects within their host communities, thereby fostering sustainable development and social cohesion.

‎She went further to urge the outgoing corps members to uphold the core values of the NYSC scheme—integrity, discipline, patriotism, and service—and to leverage the skills and experiences gained during their service years for both personal growth and national development.

‎She reminded them that their service year was not just about fulfilling a statutory obligation but also about becoming catalysts for positive change in Nigeria.

‎In a vibrant, memorable, and heartfelt event held in Bayelsa State, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) officially bid farewell to the 2024 Batch C Stream 1 corps members during their Passing Out  activities  on Tuesday, 11th November 2025. The event took place at the Peace Park Complex in Yenagoa, marking a significant milestone in the lives of the young men and women who dedicated a year of service to their communities and the nation.

‎The Event was characterized by a spirit of celebration, reflection, and gratitude, as corps members, NYSC Staffs all gathered to acknowledge the remarkable achievements and contributions of the departing corps members.
